 | Welcome to the beautiful and national heritage site of Charlestown Watersports, a family run business,where ‘we can entertain you’, with a host of different activities. The ACTIVITIES we can offer are: RYA Approved powerboat school; Rib rides; trips; charter and film work; We also RETAIL watersports equipment such as wetsuits (summer and winter), drysuits, Kayaks, buoyancy aids, water ski equipment, towable toys, windsurfing accessories, etc so please ring for your requirements
. Film Work Charlestown watersports works with 'Square-sail', whose boat is pictured to your right. Our boat, 'Ghostrider' is an 8.5m deep vee RIB with inboard 260 HP diesel, and makes a very stable platform for the cameraman and film crew. There is not much weather that this boat could not go out in. We have been used for filming the marine episodes of 'The Beach' with Jason Donovan. "Three men in another boat" with Griff Rhys Jones where we followed his boat from London Bridge to the Isle of Wight over 10 days. We are also chartered for photographic work and civil engineering companies for inspections.
